The Worst Cellulite Treatment Actually Gives You More Cellulite!
As I looked at some of the recent success stories that I’ve received (a few of which have been posted on the home page) - it made me realize that there are supposed ‘cellulite treatments’ in the form of exercises, creams, lotions, wraps and pills (just to name a few) - that are actually causing more cellulite on women’s toughest problem areas.
Here’s why…
Prime Example: A woman gets so fed up with the cellulite on her legs, butt, hips and thighs - and finally decides to start an exercise program (something she really doesn’t want to do) - because the girl that does her nails told her that she heard exercising helps get rid of cellulite… [Please note this type of scenario can happen many ways... i.e. - a helpful hubby buys the wife a B.S. piece of anti cellulite exercise equipment, boyfriend encourages his girl to join Curves for women... too many to list...]
So she begrudgingly joins the local fitness center and gets put on a program with all the typical weights and machines for legs - which is the equivalent of feeling the need to break an egg before you put it into the frying pan… with a freakin’ sledge hammer for Pete’s sake!
So she gets into the routine …bustin’ her ass for a few weeks …the initial soreness subsides and she’s cruisin’ along - doing 2 or 3 tough leg workouts every week…
But - every time she strips down before getting in the shower - she looks in the mirror and the bumpy skin is still there - …no cellulite reduction - just a little stronger in the legs - BUT with a few new aches and pains to go along with the early stages of humiliation…
Now - let me make note here - this happens with all the bogus cellulite scams and treatments out there.. But here’s the problem - exercise, wait let me specify… THE PROPER EXERCISES do reduce and get rid of cellulite… But exercises that are prescribed to the masses - are not structured to target and get rid of cellulite…
Here’s an analogy that will help illustrate this beautifully…
Remember the scene in Rocky where he beats the crap out of the side of beef?

Rocky Beating a Dead Horse (I mean cow)
When he’s done throwing punches the side of beef is still fully intact… BUT it’s bruised and bloodied, and battered with a few broken ribs on the inside… - later on, that same side of beef which took a brutal beating, gets sliced, diced and filleted into several dozen pieces (or filayed, or falaid…) with a small but sharp butcher knife WITHOUT the butcher breaking one bead of sweat…
See, the butcher got the job done properly with the right tools and the right technique…
Which brings me back to the point about cellulite treatments that actually make it worse…

Body Bruising Exercise
I’ll keep this simple and to the point…
So our lady that we mentioned earlier… Shes a few more weeks in and she’s convinced the cellulite isn’t going away - as a matter of fact - as much as she hates to admit it - she’s actually noticing that it’s getting worse!!
Thats because it is… See, an exercise program that doesn’t get rid of cellulite - won’t stop it from getting worse either. Nasty but true!… Easy to understand, right?
So naturally she quits the brutal gym workouts and gives up altogether… But here’s the bigger problem… She still believes that the program she was following was supposed to get rid of her cellulite - when in reality it wasn’t - and because of this - she now believes it’s her “genetics” that has doomed her body and her happiness for the rest of her life…
This happens every day… I know, because I’ve been helping women like this for about 21 years now. It used to bother me a lot - until I learned how to it put it into perspective - and since I’ve put this fact into perspective - it’s helped me realize with more clarity the gift I’ve been given in being able to empathize with and guide toward success the type of woman who has experienced this type of misdirection and subsequent letdown…
You may have cellulite… You may not have any cellulite - or you may be trying to prevent cellulite as you ‘mature’ (as you get “older”)… either way…
I hope this article has helped you understand the perils of the wrong cellulite treatment and how to avoid the pain and agony that can result from going down the wrong path.

Soooooooooooooo what exercise DOES help celulite?
hi again joey. pretty true article been there myself. though the cardio equipment does work. i was wondering however if you have any suggestions on how to get rid of loose tummy skin. (had twins) its slowly starting to fill with fat-yikes!!! i need to put a stop on it right now. p.s. the lower body workouts are awesome.
HI, joey I have been doing your workout for about 2 months , I am only 49 kilos and have always been small but still have a bit of a cellulite problem on the back of my upper legs. I think your workout is fantastic and have noticed a real difference in muscle tone and am seeing lines where i never have before
I have noticed a reduction in cellulite but still have some to go. Just wondering if you can give me a rough time frame as to when women have started to see a real difference in cellulite reduction on your program? I know it depends on the women and size also but just wanted an idea.
By the way I think your handsome and don’t look anything like Danny or Mr Clean

Thanks 4 ur enlightening comments on the fact that certain exercises do not necessarily get rid of cellulite, but I expected u 2 elaborate on the specific strategies 4 busting this problem permanently. Thank u kindly 4 sending me articles on a regular basis.

Hey Rachel, it’s interesting that you would like a time frame - as Joey will probably tell you, everybody’s different! Don’t want to discourage you, but I’ve been working out with Joey’s program and combining this with a personal trainer and balanced diet for about 2 months, and even my husband can’t see a difference! BUT I can FEEL the difference. Clocks and calendars are just like a scale: man-made things that keep track of stuff, with numbers on it. You can’t put a timetable on this stuff, but if you pay attention, and gauge how you FEEL, about yourself, about your increased discipline, or any other sort of individualized “scale,” you will know you’re on the right path. Oh and a measuring tape works too.
Joey posted a picture of a muscle with cellulite on one of his blogs about 3 months ago, and I’ve kept that picture in my head as I do my squats and lunges and walk past the ice cream store.
If I feel like things aren’t moving fast enough, I drink more water and limit my sugar intake (and when I eat good carbs I make sure I add some good fat to slow down the insulin spike). That seems to do the trick faster than anything.

I actually did your program for just over a month on a consistent basis and I will admit that i have seen the formation of muscles, which never occurred when I use to go to the gym all those years ago. Anyway due to illness I had stopped for maybe a week and as the story goes can’t seem to get back on the horse or cow, I still however do some of the floor exercises in bed while watching television. I am still seeing cellulite but I know based on the changes in my legs in that short space of time, if I were to continuously train using your programme i would probably see a 80% reduction. I hope to start back this week but I have been caught up watching the olympics, now those atheletes have awesome physiques.
Joey you are toooooo full of yourself but I know its just the fun side of you, why would you want to look like Danny DaVito anyway I don’t believe he is cute in the least.

I’m 4″11 about 118 pounds I do not think I’m fat; but my inner thighs are my main problem what can I do to tone them and see results sooner. thank you for any help you can give me…… Teresa

Hi, Joey, I thought any leg exercises would eventually help getting rid of cellulite, so I admit to being a bit confused now!… I was hoping you’d tell us what does actually work though, I do a lot of leg exercises and have no cellulite (so far!), but would like to know the best way to prevent it!

i totally agree with what you said. i worked out 3-4 times a week and started get more muscle tone, but the cellulite is still there. it is very diappointing. what are the best exercises to help rid some of the cellulite?
I am a very young person suffering from cellulite please can you tell me what’s the best exercise i can do to get rid of it. i can’t even wear short clothes any more i’m too ashamed so i really need help.
